Joel Calafell è il nuovo campione di Spagna! Il giocatore spagnolo più forte di tutti i tempi si è tolto la soddisfazione di vincere un titolo che inseguiva da diversi anni, senza mai esserci andato nemmeno vicino. Partito male sabato, è riuscito a recuperare l'1-2 iniziale con una rimonta che l'ha portato diritto nei Top 8. Come per i Nazionali di Germania, notiamo l'assenza di Caw Blade tra questi otto mazzi, vista la rotazione in Standard di fine settembre con gli Squadron Hawk presenti solo in M11 ci sembra che ormai non sia più tempo per loro, anche se probabilmente li rivedremo in Modern. Contiamo invece ben 4 Splinter Twin, sicuramente il combo del presente e del futuro. Molto interessanti i 2 Dragonmaster Outcast giocati da Joel in side.
