Questa carta si combina da dio con Food Chain, dato che permette di avere mana infinito blu (sacrifichi il Griffin con Food Chain, aggiungi 5 mana blu alla riserva, ne spendi 4 per rigiocarlo dall'esilio, e così via fino all'infinito). Dato che è una combo di facile realizzazione, composta da solo 2 carte e dall'effetto utile (anche se purtroppo il mana può essere usato solo per le creature), in Commander è già scritto che diventerà un classico stra-abusato. Purtroppo non sono il solo ad essersene accorto, dato che Internet è stato letteralmente saccheggiato di tutte le Food Chain a buon prezzo... Mi sto attualmente mangiando le mani per non esserne riuscito a prenderne stamani un playset su MCM a 1.88€ l'una (mi sono dovuto accontentare di prenderne 3 a 2.7€ l'una). Sicuramente si rivelerà un brutto "investimento" (sono sicuro che in giro le troverò a pochi spiccioli in futuro), ma meglio non rischiare, tanto il prezzo è comunque irrisorio.

Tra parentesi ho letto che c'è chi dice che possa essere usata addirittura in Legacy... O__O Ora, è vero che esiliare il Griffin per una Force of Will è un utilizzo "interessante" per questa creatura, ma una combo a 3 (Food Chain + Griffin + una carta creatura per sfruttare la combo) in Legacy mi sembra decisamente improponibile...
