Ma sicuramente non lo faranno, hanno già annunciato i manuali che usciranno a fine 2024/inizio 2025 e sono solo i manuali base della "nuova edizione". Per un annetto la wizard si concentrerà su quello e di ambientazioni magic credo proprio non ne farà.

THE CALAMITY BEASTS
Calamity Beasts are large, terrifying non-sapient creatures that are harbingers of seasonal changes and weather variations. They are massive, towering over the animalfolk of Valley, who scramble and scurry to safety when seeing signs of a Calamity's approach. To animalfolk, they are near-mythological beings that inspire awe, terror, and excitement. Because the Calamity Beasts bring new seasons in their wake, they represent an essential part of the local ecosystem despite the danger, so the animalfolk owe their flourishing crops to their movements as much as they blame their leaner harvests on them as well.

Not all Calamity Beasts are carnivorous—some are simply so huge that their very existence is a threat. Animalfolk have built up a repertoire of tools and systems for dealing with these threats, but no amount of preparation can guarantee avoiding conflict with these creatures.

VISITORS FROM OTHER PLANES
Bloomburrow is bound by a powerful plane-wide enchantment. When creatures from another plane visit Bloomburrow, they are always physically transformed into a creature that is native to the plane. The visitors and denizens assume that this phenomenon is inherent to the plane itself, but whether it it a natural magical enchantment, an artifact of lingering power, mighty spell, a Calamity Beast of plane altering power, or the aftermath of some divine condition, no one yet has yet been able to discover the truth.

Si potevano sprecare un po' di più per spiegare i visitatori, ma forse è meglio così. Le creature leggendarie tipo Ishai, Ojutai Dragonspeaker rendono bene la differenza tra antropomorfo e semplice animale. Baleful strix è spaventosa. Per Karn, the Great Creator si sono appoggiati al worldbuilding, la linfa degli alberi è in qualche modo metallica

ma quindi in questo piano i cattivi sono animali elementali più grandi degli altri: il gufo, il luccio, il lupo
potrebbero ambientare un altro set su bloomborrow con le specie predatrici: lupi, pesci, donnole, tassi e uccelli cattivi

Le bestie elementali non sono necessariamente cattive da quello che so io, sono come le calamità naturali, non sono malvagie di per sé ma causano comunque problemi agli altri. In più dalla lore che viene dalle carte quando una di queste bestie elementali muore porta nuova vita. Poi c'è il cervo che dal trailer sembra buono
