While the ability to (often unblockably, thanks to islandwalk) steal artifacts from your opponents' decks is powerful, before Outlaws of Thunder Junction the Merfolk had few true homes in Commander, but now it's showing up in both Gonti, Canny Acquisitor decks and Felix Five-Boots decks. Here it's worth keeping in mind that Thada Adel's current price is partially driven by scarcity - the three-drop is nearly 15 years old and has never been reprinted - at nearly $30 Thada Adel, Acquisitor seems like an easy include in a future Commander-focused set, and a reprinting would likely crash its price because even with its new Outlaws of Thunder Junction homes, the demand for Thada Adel, Acquisitor isn't super high."

L'unico ricordo che ho di questa carta è di quando la Wizards aggiunse Hullbreacher al MTGO Vintage Cube, ed era una carta così forte e incontestabile che tutti se ne lamentarono, e la Wizards decise di sostituirla con questa morchia per placare gli animi.
